Year 2
Cross Disciplinary Project
Together with students of RMIT we analyse and propose new ways to present brands in different countries. We have to design and manage a brand launch that advocates sustainability as it's focus. The brand we picked was Broti.

Broti is known for their refreshing 1 litre iced teas and sodas since 2015. They sell variety of cool, refreshing beverages perfect for any occasion.

We decided to bring bits of Malay culture into our mood board. With the straw mats to chill and lay down.

The idea to add the term "lepak" into the branding of Broti in Melbourne.

After consulting and discussing as a group, we knew that we wanted to create a pop up as one of our marketing plan. To encourage sustainability efforts, we planned to collect stamps for those who reuse their Broti cups.
At the same time I gave the idea to take inspiration from Working Title restaurant in Singapore with their picnic mats which people can borrow when they purchase their drinks, I thought it will be really cute idea. From what we gathered from the students in RMIT, is that in Melbourne students do hang out a lot at the parks and near their libraries.

Drawings created by Adawia, with the idea in mind of having a Broti pop up outside of State Library Victoria. For students to check them out or purchase the refreshing drinks.
I created the poster for our Broti pop up that will be in Melbourne, Australia.
Let’s take it to the streets!
We want people to notice the posters that will be out around the area of State Library Victoria. With the use of our posters, we want to get word out about Broti and making it one of the ways to connect with our audience.

These hashtags can be used to spread the word around on FaceBook and Instagram. Informative hashtags on the next event Broti will be holding their pop up at e.g #brotiMelbourne

Part of my role was being the editor. These images were my favourite because the shots were simple and fun to edit, on the bad side is the patience I had to deal editing on my laptop. But looking at the before and after was satisfying and I really loved the outcome of it.

It definitely is a challenge to edit faces on Adobe Photoshop as there is a lot I have take note the background, hair colour and all the small details I had to take in consideration. Especially with the drinks in hand it was much harder to edit it, but I like the outcome even though it took quite long to get it done.
The last part to do was compiling everything into InDesign and get ready to print them out as a book.
