Experience
Been working with The Artist Village and Post Museum outside of school, my role was mostly assisting in curatorial work with workshops & exhibitions. With visual artists, performance artists and art director. The workshop I am mainly involved is called Renew Earth Sweat Shop, what we do is create micro-community spaces in response to the global environmental and labour issues in fashion.

Us year 2 students from the Diploma in Creative Direction for Fashion programme went on a journey to uncover the sentimental values attached to items in their wardrobes. Into a storytelling project and curated selection of zines. At Thryft, previously at Peace Centre.

I do help out for workshops like going to schools to teach students of turning their old t-shirts into tote bag.
Being part of RESS that is a multi-event project that includes art exhibitions, workshops, activations, community workspace and fashion waste recycling station. Sometimes I help with the social media marketing, assisting in teaching others and importantly creating conversations.

For this annual review exhibition, I helped out with the social media content and the set up for the exhibition.

Clang Festival is a Chinese Indie and Rock Festival, that Muta Wear held a workshop on turning t-shirt into yarns. I learnt on teaching others different ways to do loop patterns using the yarns.

Held my own fabric zine workshop at The Fashion Pulpit, with the help from Adawia. Very thankful for the opportunity given to me by TFP team! I did not expect a lot of people to sign up because there was not much exposure of promoting the event. It was overall such great fun and there are plans for another workshop in the future.
